NASCAR vs. Formula 1 Racing National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) and Formula 1 (F1) have different fan bases and different things needed for a driver to succeed. One of the major differences between NASCAR and F1 is that NASCAR races on oval tracks, where as, F1 races on Grand Prix, road type tracks.
