Emotion turning back on itself, and not leading on to thought or action, is the beginning steps to inner madness. When people are overwhelmed with strong emotions but keep them quiet and do not express them, they begin to grow and expand forming unhealthy and dangerous internal madness. William Golding did a terrific job with demonstrating the key aspects of how hostile emotions lead to people having deep rooted beasts of madness, there are numerous occasions that we see these features in the novel Lord of the Flies. It is easy to deny personal emotion to others, but when the inner beast takes over self emotions, it becomes obvious to everyone, as you start to change. The loss of self control is the most dangerous trait a person can have, once the beast is in control it is a landslide of negativity and madness. Beneath the surface, belligerent emotions force humans to have underlying beasts. To begin, many humans are afraid of change, when emotions are hard to deal with, humans back off and shut down, and eventually their inner beast will take over. Roger was never very vocal, but......
