Two of the greatest Revolutions that occurred between the late 1700's through the mid- 1800's, is the American Revolution and the French Revolution. The American was a huge turning point in American history, and the French Revolution was one of the most important events in the history of the world. Both of these revolutions had great impacts both then and now.The American Revolution marked the end of the British rule and the beginning of the new self-governed America. The American Revolution began when the king of Britain sent colonists over to the new world to colonize in the first thirteen original colonies. Britainbegan to put taxes on needed items such as stamps, tea, sugar, and newspapers. This outrage began the rebellion of the Americans against the British.
