The world is a complicated place. It is so complicated in fact, that people will come up with ridiculous stories just so they can "understand" it. An example: How do birds fly? Well I don't really know let's just say that they hang from an invisible string attached to the sky. We all know that absurd ideas like that could never be true. But believe it or not, 33 percent of the population, one-third of the world, over 2 billion people live their lives around these outrageous stories. As we learned last year, the Church was a pretty corrupted religion. People would be told they had sinned for all of the bad things they had done, yet they could be forgiven as soon as they gave money to the church. When I first learned about these indulgences I couldn't believe that people actually thought they could do whatever they wanted, then pay somebody to be forgiven and finally die and go live in some perfect place forever.
