During the 1920's economy was at its finest. Many people had developed relationships among the stock market. Businesses ran very effectively and this had marked a new era in time. But something so great soon came to a end. On Oct.29 1929 almost overnite the stock market had took a plunge. This day for many years was known as �Black Tuesday�. The crash forced many to lose jobs and stocks. Millions who had put there lives fortune into the market lost everything. This crisis was during the presidential time of Herbert Hoover. Many believed her wasn�t for the �people�. His programs to help Americans had failed. When President Roosevelt took office in 1933 many still believed that there was hope.
