Ontario, Canada�s New Welfare Requirements The best way to take someone off of welfare is to teach him her, the basics of what they need to know. The basics are reading and writing. They will also need fundamental training such as: learning how to function at a job interview, learning how to care for their children in a proper manner, and learning how to get along in the work place. In the past, recipients were giving their welfare checks and that was until the next month. The government realize that the recipients were abusing the system and the pattern of being on welfare was being inherited from generation to generation. The United States Government has tried a program called Welfare to Work Program, which Canada�s new requirements are similar. Here are three reasons why the new welfare requirements are considered a good idea.
