In the following paper I will discuss four different altercations that took place in the college and professional realm of sports. First I will talk about the Detroit Pistons and Indiana Pacers fight. Second I will discuss the Clemson and South Carolina football game that broke into a fight. Third I will talk about a pitcher from the Texas Rangers who hit a fan with a chair. Finally I will discuss an illegal hit with a hockey stick in the Boston Bruins and Vancouver Canucks hockey game. While I was watching Sports center on Espn, highlights from the Detroit Pistons and Indiana Pacers brawl near the end of the game brought disgrace to all parties involved to include the players, spectators, NBA, and the media. This episode showed a glimpse of everything wrong with sports in America. Following a confrontation with the Pistons� Ben Wallace, Pacers forward Ron Artest stretched himself out on the scorer�s table, where he was hit by a cup of beer thrown by a Detroit fan.
