Comparative Analysis: “The Stone Boy” and “Barn Burning” Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

Sometimes things can happen in people’s lives that no one control on their own. In one case it can happen by accident or in another case it can happen on purpose. In Gina Bernault’s story, “The Stone Boy” and in William Faulkner’s, “Barn Burning”, Arnold and Sarty are the two main characters that face situations that happen in their lives and how they deal with those situations. People face decision everyday that are difficult and have to decide how they want to deal with them. Arnold faces with rejection by his family and people in the society because he accidentally kills his older brother Eugie, as they are on their way to pick peas in the garden. After Eugie’s death, People in his town begin to speak less to him and his family ignores him.
