INTRODUCTION The organization I have selected to study is Biodiagnostic Laboratory Services Inc.This organization is a Clinical laboratory where tests are done on biological specimens in order to get information about the health of a patient. The following is the hierarchy of the clinical laboratory staff from highest to the lowest, pathologist. Laboratory manager, department supervisor, chief technologist, medical technologist, medical technician, medical laboratory assistant, phlebotomist and specimen processor/secretary. In a majority of countries, there are two main types of labs. Hospital laboratories attached to hospital and the latter is a reference laboratory which is going to be the subject of our study. BDLS receives samples from doctors, insurance companies and other health clinics for analysis. The credibility of a laboratory is paramount to the health and safety of the patients relying on the testing services provided by the lab, BDLS is 7 years old and has been accredited by Clinical laboratory improvement Amendment.
