About a small percent of college students are high school graduates, and the larger percent are returning college students. Unlike new students the returning college students already have an understanding of how college functions. Yet many students still fail to succeed and fail semesters; however, there are many reasons why college students do not pass their courses. For example, some college students work, some have more than one class, and their personal lives are overwhelmed. These reasons may seem like excuses but they are the cause of failing grades. The first reason why many college students don�t pass their classes is because most of them work and don�t have enough time for school. Some work to support themselves and some are depended on. Working and going to school is not as easy as people think it is, a part-time or full-time job is very hard because you have to be there on time; sometimes the student works late hours, and stresses out over school.
