In recent times parents have come under great scrutiny for not really knowing what is going on in their own children�s lives. Fourteen days after two young sixteen-year-old girls took their own lives politicians are calling for parents to know more about their own children. Suicide is known as the act of intentionally killing yourself. It is a process in which social, psychological, neurobiological and cultural variables all contribute to produce the end result. The problem for those left behind in their agonising questioning is that these factors carry unequal weight. No single factor has been confirmed to be sufficient enough to cause suicide. The great resource known as the World Wide Web has been shown to be linked to the rising toll of suicide deaths between the ages of 15-24. The Internet is being used to make forums and posting thoughts on Internet �blogs� which allow people to discuss their suicidal thoughts with other suicidal people.
