Telecommunication organizations are under economic pressure. Local, long-distance and international markets are all competing for the same business. This is a major topic on Wall Street. Stockholders are having conversations about their shares, and Global Communications (GC) is having the same problem. The stock per share depreciated 50% compared to three years ago. The stockholders pressure GC to correct the problem. GC is concerned and the senior management team is trying to work with some alternatives on how to protect their business and gain profit. GC team came up with two approaches.
The first approach is to realize growth by introducing new services, to its small business and consumer customers, who will now be served in both local and long-distance markets across the country.
