The education system has changed drastically from 40 years ago. This is due to the change in society, advancements in technology and the people themselves. Because of the progression showed by this country, educators must adjust to the children of today. I feel that the experience that I have had working with people and children will make it easier to work with students in the classroom. As with all people, no child thinks or learns the same way. I believe that reading text isn�t the only way a child can gain knowledge. I understand that each child has their own preference on how learning can become easier for them. I would adjust my style of teaching to insure that each of my students actually learned what was being taught. Some children can process information best when they are listening to a teacher speak the information that needs to be learned, others children may find it easier to get involved in hands on activity with something that is related to the assignment. This is why my teaching methods would have to be very flexible. I would lecture, review, and get the students ......
