Who is to blame for the fate of Romeo and Juliet? The parents are partly to blame for creating a feuding environment for their children to grow up in. The constant hatred between the Montagues and the Capulets created a destructive environment that would lead to death and suicide. Both families were responsible for keeping the feud going.
