“An average of nearly 10 people die every day in the U.S. because they need an organ transplant and no organ is available. In 1996, nearly 4,000 people died while on waiting lists for a kidney, pancreas, liver, heart, lung or intestine. That year, more than 50,000 people were on lists to receive organ transplants. With limited number of organs available to be transplanted, difficult choices had to be made as to which patients would receive the transplants.” (“Organ Allocation”). With recent advances in cloning people wouldn’t have to wait on the organ transplant list. Almost any thing is virtually possible now. Cloning will become the future of mankind because of its ability to cure many diseases, replace human organs, save endangered animals, and produce more food from plants and animals.
