It's now been nine years as of August 13, 1998 when it started. At that time I wasn't a believer in the myths of Friday the 13th. I sat at my desk doing the same monotonous task of entering the payroll that I performed every week, when, out of the corner of my eye I saw a shadow seem to pass right in front of the window. At first I thought maybe it was just a client entering the building and brushed it off. It was then I felt a tap on my shoulder, I turned around and no one was there. Thinking it was Julie playing one of her childish games I got up and went looking for her and found her sitting at her desk. I asked her if there was something she wanted and with a puzzled expression reply's, she didn't know what I was talking about. Puzzled myself I went back to my office. Later that afternoon I went to the Post Office to deliver the completed payroll. On my way back to the office I was struck by another vehicle racing through a stop sign, and totaling my car.
