Interior designing has been around since the time of ancient Egypt and the Tutankhamen tomb. The tomb belonged to a boy who reigned over Egypt until he died at age 18. The area around his tomb was filled with lavish jewelry and ornaments. This is a clear sign of the Egyptians use of ornaments and their talent for designing spaces.
