Pride and Prejudice English: Seminar Good morning/afternoon fellow actors and actresses, I am here before you, to present a seminar on Mr. Darcy, the character I have been cast as in our production of Pride and Prejudice. The novel is written by none other than world renowned author Jane Austen and was adapted into a play by Anne Hannaford. The character I am acting as, Mr. Darcy, is an intelligent, overly proud, overly conscious �gentleman,� who has a reputation of being a most charming man. Born into a wealthy, well established family as Fitzwilliam Darcy, though in Pride and Prejudice he is referred to as Darcy, and after the passing of his father, he is now the master of the distinguished estate of Pemberly. As I will be portraying the character of Darcy, I must dress in a most impeccable manner so that I conform to his standards in society. He is very wealthy and his clothes are of the finest materials and are predominantly made of drab, gloomy colours like that of other people in his era. Usual assortment of clothes include a tail coat, vest, some sort of under garment......
