The modern sense of immigration implies the movement of people from one nation to the other. In 2005, the UN recorded 190 million international immigrants. The amount of immigrants may appear great, but relatively, it is but 3% of the world’s population. By this fact one can see how one’s perspective, with only certain amounts of data, can lead one to think that there is a great amount of immigrants, however being but a small percentage of the global population. To have reason is to have the capacity to think and understand in a rational manner, however this capacity can change with certain variables. Variables such as one’s emotions, or one’s knowledge on the subject can change one’s perspective, therefore being led to think that the subject is wrong when reason shows its right. One’s mind can be so deceitful when conscience is mixed with reason that it is possible one can deny undesirable, yet critical, information so as to please what the conscience decides as a reasonable idea. ......
