Cancun Clich� Sitting in the airport awaiting to board our flight, I noticed how many people were wearing floral Hawaiian shirts as if they playing in a Cancun myan band. I was oblivious to how many people were on my flight to Cancun because I was so unbelievably excited to go out of the country for the first time. Once we arrived in Mexico we walked down the stairs of the plane almost like we were famous. The airport in Mexico was completely open and the roof was made of palm trees and bamboo. There were people awaiting us giving us leis and playing music and dancing. We were assigned a van to take us to our resort; the ride being bumpy seemed forever until we got to our resort. It was hot and sticky outside and all we wanted to do was go swim in the ocean. As we walked inside the resort there were palm trees and plants everywhere. The waterfalls and ponds inside the lobby were covered in vines and had turtles living in them. We checked in and the people working there immediately took our bags and carried them to our room.
