Poverty in America In the last couple of weeks I have learned that poverty in America is a bigger problem them most people will ever realize. It affects more people then anybody cares to think about, it�s a subject that if anybody has the chance to avoid then they will gladly take that chance. This is one of the major problems that we have in this country. It seems to me that a lot of people think that a lot of minorities are the only people affect by poverty and that because of that it�s not their problem to worry about because it�s not their fault. It doesn�t matter who is in poverty no matter what color or what race they are, a lot of them need help and a lot of people aren�t willing to give help. It has opened my mind up more to what a lot of people in poverty have to go through to even live and how hard it is to get everything they need to live. A lot of people, me being one of them, don�t really know how that feels and that might be the problem.
