People cannot clearly define the ages that cover the adolescent period in their human life. We know it is the thing that comes after childhood but we�re not sure when it is a good time to stop our adolescent behaviors. Some older humans considered as �adults�, still have the mind-set of an adolescent and then again some adolescents have the mind-set of children. That being said the text defines the period of adolescence as starting from ages 10 to 12 and ending around ages 18-22 (Santrock, pg. 20). All of us that are old enough to have experienced or are still experiencing adolescence have felt the highs and the lows of that period in life. In the following paper, I would like to state the best and worst parts of adolescence according to my understanding of: Crispin, The Cross of Lead by Avi, the Santrock text, the video Devil�s Playground, the PBS program, A World of Their Own: The Teenage Brain, and the best reference of all; my own personal experience. In Crispin, the Cross of Lead, there are a couple of things that I took as good ideas on the highs and lows of adolescence.......
