The Sainte-Chapelle has been tokened as the gem of French Gothic architecture and a tiny jewel box by different writers. I became interested in this chapel after viewing pictures of its interior, mainly the thorn of crowns. The depth, beauty and all the hard work that must have gone into it to make such a large home for many different artistic features just amazed me. Its honor and detail do its intended job at representing the finest of its time period and awing those who view the Sainte-Chapelle. The beautiful Sainte-Chapelle is located in the heart of Paris, France, being very well known in its location and outstanding at its classiness and craftsmanship. The blueprint plan for the Sainte-Chapelle began in 1241 and discussions didn�t finalize until five years later, where it then took an astonishingly swift construction in just two years, completing itself on April 26 of 1248 (wikipedia online, 1).
