Depression often leads to self-abuse and sometimes suicide. But is it really easy to notice? Maybe if people would just pay a little more attention. Maybe if they would just try to help; and not have the teens suffer alone; help them to open up. Depression may not be a hundred percent avoidable, but many people can help prevent suicide in most teenagers who are going through depression. There are a few things one would think that people should know about this situation. If the people around the teenagers noticed, and made sure that they were okay. A lot of them could find comfort in knowing that someone cares. The teens need someone there for them to just assure them they are not alone. Many teens in depression think that they are all alone in a careless world. They know that something is wrong, but some of them just cannot really pick out the real thing that is not working. These people need someone just there trying to understand how they feel, someone who does not want them disappear.
