They figured if they just shook the money trees hard enough, they could find money for everything" Howard M. In the time of the Turn of the Era, The Industrial Revolution (1870-1916) was a time of great growth that included a vast chain of events that changed the American Life forever. On the flipside, there were several drawbacks that affected the society and people in a devastating aspect. The focus of this paper is on multiple brief descriptions for some of the many events that changed history in a positive way and negative way, and new machine inventions, particularly the assembly line method of production which led into the time of Fordism - viewed by some as the beginning of the shortcomings of the time.
