Racism & Prejudice Racism and prejudice has been a problem in all countries for a long time. Whether it is against Whites, Hispanics, Blacks, or Asians, it always hurts whoever the action is getting directed to. Both racism and prejudice can be closely tied together. Racism reached its peak the early 1800's when white men would sleep with black women, for the men thought colored women were filled with passion. On the other hand, if a black man looked at a white woman, it would be morally wrong, because that�s a sign of the black man getting his retribution from the white man(Winthrop 180). These actions have been continued around the world, maybe not in the same form, but in the same sense that people thinking other races are inferior to their own. There have been many attempts to rid this horrifying thought from the world. As sad as it sounds, the idea of racism will probably stay in circulation of certain families for the rest of time.
