The Aviation industry is a complex combination of professionals. Some of these professional include; aeronautical engineers, aircraft mechanics, cabin crew members, executive officers, pilots, accountants and many others. An airline usually has the latter mentioned employees under its wing. It is therefore necessary to put in place a code of conduct that describes ethical responsibilities which all the stakeholders in the airline must uphold. Other parties who do business with the company should also be informed about a code of conduct. These companies should instill a sense of personal responsibility among their members. Violating any part of a code of conduct should be reported to higher authorities as soon as possible. The highest responsibility when dealing with ethical issues should be placed on management. Managers should act as an example to the rest of the staff and should take corrective action when the code of conduct is broken.
