In one of Anslem�s ontological argument, he tries to prove God�s existence. Many people have tried to prove that God exists, but there is always someone that finds a way to prove them wrong. I think that we always need to have someone on the other side of the argument and saying that there is no way that we can prove that God exists. If someone were able to prove tat God exists then that would be a bad thing because it defeats the whole purpose of �believing in God� and �having faith in God�. If we know that there is definitely a God then it takes away the challenge of actually believing that there is a God. There is no point in believing in something that you know is true. The rest of my report will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of Anslem�s ontological argument. A fool is someone who says that he understands the claim "God exists" but he does not believe that God exists. Anslem�s goal is to prove to the fool that God exists. Anslem wants to show that these two beliefs are contradictory and it is impossible to understand the claim �god exists�, but ......
