Introduction Inequality can be evaluated in many dimensions like education, health, life expectancy, welfare�etc. This paper represents the economic perspective of the distribution which is called the income distribution. Lorenz curve is the best and today the standard way to criticize the size of the distribution and poverty. Also to measure the inequality, there are some indexes like mean deviations, squared coefficients, variance... etc. However the most significant and common index is Gini coefficient. The concept of the paper includes some methods and measures for the distribution of income. In addition to this, distribution of income is represented in two categories as inter and intra national concept because according to empirical analyses inequality have changed differently between and within countries.
