Vigil Four people: a woman, a girl, an older man and a man, and in fact another man�who dies�star in vigil, a movie about how boring life is for farmers. This is how Vigil, directed by Vincent Ward, might seem to the average audience. However, although unfathomable at times, vigil is one of few movies that get close to real time experience. The movie is an expression of what life looks like if observed by the instant and rewound for you to see it. Therefore, dismissing such a movie is easy because the movie is basically the observation of the interaction of four people with no much space�in terms of both people and space�between them. Actually, the story if fast forwarded and compacted could be told in twenty minute. Mrs. Stewart is faced with the sudden death of her husband, after he falls of a cliff while rearing their sheep. She is left with a young daughter and overly enthusiastic father and of coarse the sheep. Immediately, after her husband�s death, a huge, strange looking man�not before seen in the movie and during the death�brings her husband�s corpse to her. Her react......
