Imperialism, which has been interpreted from a variety of perspectives, has both positive and negative effects. This can be shown by evaluating both the positive and negative effects of imperialism. Imperialism is the domination by one country of the political and economic life of another country. This feeling of taking over other countries was present in Europe during the late 1800s. Britain, France, and other European countries nations were successful at taking over different countries of the world. They accomplished their goal of taking over India, China, and Africa because they had the spirit of nationalism, strong economies, and a powerful military. Some people believe imperialism is positive, while others believe it is negative. Imperialism can have positive effects on the country being imperialized.
