Charles Manson
There have been millions of people murdered since time began. There are murders committed in the act of survival, culture, and plain malice. In the 1960’s a man named Charles Manson led a group of people referred to as the “Family” in a series of murders in California. There have been many theories and explanations for the cause of the heinous crimes committed by Manson and his followers, along with interviews with Manson into his own reasons behind the crimes. Theories of crime causation could explain Manson’s behavior and reasoning’s, but no one theory could be exact.
The History
Manson was born in November 1934. Manson was raised by his mother Kathleen Maddox, and for a period of time an aunt and uncle in West Virginia. Manson was bounced from place to place, and living in run down motel rooms with his mother (wikipedia). Manson’s childhood was no picnic; he was in and out of juvenile hall for minor crimes until his teenage years. Manson was sent to various institutions, where he escaped from most of them.
