How does one’s day to day work have any relationship to literature? The word literature is literally "acquaintance with letters" as in the first sense given in the Oxford English Dictionary from the Latin littera meaning "an individual written character (letter)." This word has come long way and yet is identified as a collection of texts or work of art. In a more general perspective, one can compare literature with a collection of stories, poems, and essays or plays that revolve around a particular topic. In this case, the comparison made is with the fiction story The Hack Driver (LaRocco & Coughlin, 1996), the poems Pinstripe Suite and Merrill Lynch (Murphy, Sperling, & Murphy, 1991) and an essay When Money doesn’t talk: Reflections on Business, Poetry and Audience (Murphy, Sperling, & Murphy, 1991).
