Abortion is the question on everyone�s mind today. Is it right? Should it be legal or illegal? What does having an abortion do to a woman health wise? Is a fetus even considered a human being or just a blob of tissue? All excellent questions. It really comes down to pro-life or pro-choice. I consider myself to be a pro-life supporter. I truly think that abortion should not be legal. The first and most important reason abortion should be illegal is because it�s murder (infanticide). Some scientists and doctors claim that we are not human until we are viable, able to process thought or feeling. The common argument is that it�s just a �fetus�, it�s not even alive. The fact is that a �fetus� at eighteen days old already has a heartbeat and at forty-two days is producing brain waves and has reflexes. The baby is even sucking its thumb at seven-weeks old. After all, what else could it be but a baby? What are you growing in there? Strawberries? It�s absolutely ridiculous! Another common argument is that since the �fetus� is merely a lump of tissue, removing it is not a big deal. Evidence ......
