He was a great, influential and manipulative leader. In December 23, 1893 he was born into a prosperous, peasant family. He was a Chinese Marxist military and political leader, as well as a philosopher, poet and calligrapher, who led the Communist Party of China to victory against Kuomintang in the Chinese Civil War. His name is Mao ZeDong, a name never to be forgotten. Mao also led the Peoples Republic of China in 1949, which was its year of establishment, til today: September 9, 1976.
In his early life, his father was able to send him to advanced schooling due to their wealth. Despite serving in the local regiment, he disliked military service and returned to his schooling in 1911. He graduated in 1918 and travelled with his high-school Professor, and soon to be father-in-law, Yang Changji to Beijing. At his stay in Beijing, Mao read as much as possible, and through his readings he became familiar with Communism. He also married his professor’s daughter, Yang Kaihui, despite the fact that his father had already arranged a marriage.
