Man on the Moon Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

Did man really walk on the moon or was it the ultimate camera trick, the great lunar lie? The story lifts off in 1961 when Russia sent Yuri Gagarin into space, leaving a panicked America trailing in the space race. At an emergency Congress meeting, President Kennedy proposed the ultimate, to put a man on the moon. And so, the great moon hoax was born. Between 1969 and 1972, seven Apollo ships have headed to the moon. Six claim to have made it, with the ill-fated Apollo 13, whose oxygen tanks exploded halfway. Many scientists, astrophysicists and photographers believe that man did not actually walk on the moon, instead the whole thing was filmed in a studio somewhere out in the Nevada Desert. There are many theories and evidence that lead towards the fact that man never did actually walk on the moon, with one of the most famous being the American flag waving where as there is no wind in space. But with the exception of the known rocks the astronauts said they brought back from the moon, which could have easily been mocked up in a lab, the photographs and film footage are the only proo......
