Does love at first sight really exist? Or do people just mistake lust for love? Romeo and Juliet�s story portrayed true love. The two of them caught each other�s gaze through a sea of people, defied their parents to get married, and both committed suicide for each other. If true love cannot be show like that, then I do know how else to show it. Romeo and Juliet had never met before the masquerade ball because of their families� strife. When they finally did meet, fireworks filled the room. A magic between them, so strong, was shown when Romeo said, �Did my heart love till now?� (692). It could have been shown when Juliet stated, �...be but sworn my love, /And I�ll no longer be a Capulet� (700). The two lovebirds decided to get married very quickly after this ball. Plans were made for the wedding between Romeo and the Nurse. When the Nurse returned to the Capulet household, Juliet was anxiously awaiting this news from her beloved, while Nurse cruelly teased her with it.
