The American Dream; a Reality �Now, I say to you today my friends, even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream. Since July 4, 1776, there has been this inspiration for an American Dream. The thought has dominated American literature since the founding of America. The American Dream is what people see as the life for them and how they try to fulfill it. Various people have their own idea of what the American Dream is. An eternal definition does not exist�the American dream probably has a different meaning to every United States citizen. For some it is the dream of freedom and equality, for others it is the dream of a fulfilled life or even the dream of fame and wealth.
