Every human has good and evil characteristics, but it�s about how their portrayed. In the novel � Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde � by Robert Louis Stevenson, human duality is displayed through the perspective of a prominent man who has a reckless side which later becomes known as Mr. Hyde. In the poem � Richard Cory� by E. A Robinson, duality is mirrored through the theme that not every person is perceived as who they appear to be ; meaning that looks are deceiving. Both works of literature reflect the time of the Victorian Age where people were judged on their actions and characteristics.
