Prejudice, one of the most popular problems of the contemporary society, is widely spread everywhere. As Macionis explains �prejudice is a rigid and irrational generalization about an entire category of people�(2005, 277). Many societies face this problem, and tend to find the source of it, therefore a solution need to be found. Different factors affect the rate of prejudice, and one of them is education. In this paper I will explore the connection between prejudice and education in European societies, based on a cross-national survey Religious and Moral Pluralism (Jagodzinski and Dobbelaere, 1999). The data provided in this research is valid due to the fact that it refers to face-to-face interviews with people aged 18 years and older.
