Marcus Brewer is a twelve year old boy, grown up in a single parent family, living with his mother in Holloway in a small flat a poor district of London. His mother Fiona is seperatet from Marcus` father. She is a music therapist. Non of her relationships proves satisfactory. She is a real individualist and wants her son also to be different from other kids of his age. Will Freeman, a 36-year-old man is really �cool�, so he thinks about himself.
