Why do we look the way we do? Maybe it’s because of the resources that were given to us at a certain time. Maybe it’s because of the creatures surrounding us. Or maybe it’s due to environment we live in. Was it a process of unilinear evolution that all cultures progresses through a single serious of stages through most simple too most complex? Or on the contrary, Multi-linear evolution, which there was no single pass and multiple ways opposed to one. Is one of these processes the answer of what made us who we are today? But in reality no one really know why we are the way we are. All we have to compare to are images of perspective creatures that we have hypothesized. A specific image that I came across was produced after the discovery of hominid footprints in east Africa, which reshaped the study of human origins. This visual description gave me a better ideal of our past and how we may of looked through the process of evolution.
