Introduction of the Religion My introduction of the religion I chose was Catholicism and I had the opportunity to interview a strong Catholic person. The interview I had with Mr. John Styhoff from Youngstown, Ohio. He moved here from the fine city of Youngstown and now resides in Alliance, Ohio. He has been here for several years and I met him through some mutual friends. So, we will be comparing two religions from the faith of a Catholic religion to my own religion which is Methodist. The Catholic Church is the largest Christian church representing over half of all Christians in the world. Catholics believe in Jesus Christ who died for their sins, as do all Christians. The bishop of Rome says that Catholic Church and Roman Catholic Church are the same and it traces its origins to the original Christian community founded by Jesus and spread by the Twelve Apostles, in particular Saint Peter.
