In Africa the main killer is starvation. One person dies every six seconds from starvation a day in Africa (Real). A man named Andre Briend from France created a product to help those malnourished human beings in Africa. The product is called Plumpy’nut. It has been called a lifesaver, and could end world hunger. Just like everything else, this product also has its downfalls. Everyone needs a well balanced diet, and this product is a good start for the starving bodies, but is not a cure.
Plumpy’nut is a product that is made to be used in developing countries. It is designed especially for them due to the fact that other ingredients don't need to be mixed with it. All the other food sent over to Africa needs to be mixed with water or milk and due to high heat and lack of good water it is hard for those products to be given to everyone.
