The anthrax attacks resulted in a shocking spread in America effecting society including its victims. The attack in U.S.A. was significant for the government to get the spread under control before anyone else could get infected. This also affected health and medicine because doctors had to find an antidote for the deadly disease. The deadly disease broke out in America in late 2001 and had an important impact on the U.S. in the 20th century especially in the areas of civilization, government, health, and medicine. On October 2001 after the 9/11 terrorists attacks on America, a disease called anthrax was being spread by being mailed by letters. During this outburst of anthrax 5-7 Americans died and 18-22 were sickened. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has said it can fly anthrax medicines to any U.S. city within seven hours. But getting it from the local airport to people�s mouths can take days.
