The call of the wild tells about a dog whose name is Buck. Buck has strong muscle and warm, long hair, it lived at a big house in the sun-kissed Santa Clara Valley and had a comfortable life. Unfortunately, Buck was stolen and sold by the gardener��s helper to the Northland because men, grouping in the Arctic darkness, had found a yellow metal, they need heavy with strong muscle to company them and protect them from the frost. After the beating-up of its new owners and the battles with other dogs, Buck became the adapted itself to the abominable environment and finally regressed back to nature becoming the leader of wolves. The writer, Jack London, discloses the principle of survival said by Darwin:�� who fits the nature best, who will survive��. The leading character in the novel Buck realized the principle of survival after it was sold to the Northland. There are no enough food for them to eat, so it became cunning and stolen other dogs�� food. It also realized that if it did not fight with the stronger and conquered them, it would not become a leader and survive in such an abom......
