Frat parties, clubbing, and boredom can all influence college students to make some of the worst decisions of their lives. When it comes to drinking and smoking. Heavy drinking over a long period of time can cause brain damage by speeding up the death of brain cells, also drinking is known to damage nerve endings, increase the risk of heart disease, raise blood pressure, cause hemorrhagic stroke and cancer in the mouth, throat, stomach, intestines, pancreas, and liver.
