INTRODUCTION The Boeing Company is considering the development of a new airplane called 777. This new plane will cost huge expenses in terms of R&D as well as GS&A. A base case is provided in the case regarding the future cash flows under certain assumptions of sales, price, market share, market growth etc. The CEO of Boeing, Frank Shrontz, defines his task in line with the ROE of company. Thus, what is expected in this case is to come up with possible ROE figures at the end of 5 years of development + 20 years of active market availability. What follows is the methodology used to come up with a result. METHODOLOGY In the case, a forecast of Boeing 777 Free Cash Flows is provided until year 2025. This forecast is based on certain assumptions that are stretched in this study later on, to construct a sensitivity analysis.
