When I think about home the first thing that comes into my mind is the image of my mother, first of all, and implicit of my family. Home, for me, is the place where I can find my roots, a place that will always be there, waiting for me to return. As Ginsburg(1999) would say, home is �more about where are going� than �where are you from�(35). This idea is emphasize by Shelley Mallet : �is a place of origin(however recent or relative) as well as a point of destination�. In a world in a continuous moving and fluidity, as a result of the dynamic process of globalization, the word home has developed in many different meanings and values, given by each person, through each personal experience and identity. Somerville gives home seven dimensions: shelter, hearth, heart, privacy, abode and paradise. From my point of view, the position of each term in this enumeration, somehow reveals the historical step humankind has been passing through.
