The source that I used for my personal response was the movie �Rabbit proof fence�. This movie is based on the book �Follow The Rabbit Proof Fence� By Doris Pilkington Garimara, Doris is Molly�s Daughter. The movie is set in 1931 and is about 3 aboriginal girls who are half casts and then are taken away from their families and taken to live in horrible conditions within dorm houses a few thousands kilometers away from their home in a place called Moore River. Molly who is the eldest girl of the three, escapes with her sisters and leads them back home along the rabbit proof fence. Key Issues addressed in the source, which are of concern to Aboriginal people In the movie �Rabbit proof fence� the key issues are focused on the fact that hundreds of half aboriginal children, which are called half casts, were taken away from their families and communities to go live in fosters homes or work in dorm houses far from their homes.
